All garments at thula thula are handmade and each one is quality checked before shipping. I use traditional techniques when designing and making the clothing for the range. Most of the items for sale are made in limited fabrics and sizes.  Unless stated, each order is made at purchase.  If you require a special custom order, please contact me directly at naomi@thulathula.com.au.  See below for more details
All prices are in Australian dollars.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

I prefer that payment is made through Paypal, this is a safe and secure site, where you can make payment using credit card, debit or use your bank account. Australian residents can pay through direct debit. Please contact me for details or leave a note in the notes section at checkout and I will contact you.
If you use Paypal e-cheques, your order will not be posted till this clears (about 4 to 6 business days) and adds to your shipping time.

SHIPPING

For all deliveries, overseas or within Australia, I use Australia post. If you require your item to be recorded or insured, this is an extra cost (approx $A6 + on top of postage cost) calculated on weight. Please leave a message in checkout and I will contact you with the final cost of the insurance.  I will invoice this separately to your order.
Approx time of delivery from purchase within Australia is 5 to 14 days. Overseas (air mail) 10 to 14 days.

REFUND/RETURNS

  • All items are handmade. Please choose carefully when making a purchase.
I do not accept returns or refund on an item of clothing where there is an issue with the quality of the garment, meaning damage that has occurred during general wear and tear or stains.
  • If you knew of a fault with the garment before purchase and I have clearly stated this before purchase, I will not at any time accept refund or a return for credit on the garment.
  • Any damage relating to buttons, construction or stitching of the garment, which has occurred during production, but not related to wear and tear is considered eligible for refund or return.
  • I will not refund if you change your mind.
  • I except exchanges of items where size or colour is an issue. The garment must be returned, at your own cost, within 3 weeks of purchase date and un-worn, with it's original tags attached.

My aim is to always ensure that I quality check all garments before I post them to you. As I design and make all the products personally, if I find a fault in the material used or during production I will clearly label this item as such.

Most of all I always endeavor to ensure that the purchase you make is a happy one.

How do I choose the correct size?
Simply, if your child is aged 1, buy a size 1Y (y = year), 2 years old, 2Y. This sizing should be adequate for the average size child through that year of age.
When making clothing for children I keep it simple, elastic making the item easy to get on or off, classic cuts with room and comfortable to wear. You can still contact me if you are still unsure.

Why handmade?
The best thing is you are buying a unique item, it's not mass produced and you are supporting a small business...me! I think there is nothing more beautiful than a child wearing something lovingly made and with traditional skills I pride myself on. Plus, you most likely won't see another child in your garment purchase, remember it's limited sizes and designs I make.

How does the checkout process work?
After you have added your products to the cart and clicked 'Checkout', the following happens...

  • Your order at thula thula sends all the order info to PayPal where you pay with a credit card or with your PayPal account
  • You are then taken back to thula thula where a message is displayed thanking you for the order.
Simple! I then receive an email about your purchase and it's sent out to you...that's it.

NOTE: I pride myself on quality and have received high praise for the design, originality and esthetics I put into the clothing I design and construct for children.   I love making an item for my children and sharing that with my clients/customers.  Using traditional techniques and not mass producing a range means attention to detail, great finish and most of all made to be explored, worn and used for adventure.
